The first book for the book club will be A History of Money and Banking in the United States: The Colonial Era to World War II by Murray N. Rothbard.
It is available online from Mises Institute for a free download. Also sold on Amazon. I bought the paperback, it is rather hefty because of the large print. I tried to figure out what font is used in the book, but it is nowhere to be found. Instead I discovered that it was made to order - printed on August 1, 2023 in New Haven, CT.
We’ll be skipping the Introduction by Joseph T. Salerno. My usual rule is to read everything written by the author, but skip the additions by others (except for tranlator’s notes.)
The first entry in the book club will deal with the first several sections of Part I, A History of Money and Banking in the United States Before the Twentieth Century up to, but not including, The Jacksonian Movement and the Bank War.

Wait 'till you get a load of this...
